So, let’s started step by step how to install WordPress in your localhost computer –
Start your WAMP server services by running your WAMP server executable file and click on phpMyAdmin option to create database. Database is needed to store data for blog or website.

Download latest stable version of WordPress Here
Make a copy of WordPress and paste it in “www” folder inside WAMP server and rename this folder by your site name. (Here we are taking ‘testsite’).
Open your computer browser and type “localhost/testsite”. You will reach at the installation page of WordPress. Keep in mind, write your database name, database user name and password, like below image-
After submitting all above information, Click on ‘Run the install’
On the next screen, you can fill out the installation form. You need to provide a title for your website, choose an admin username / password, and provide admin email address.
WordPress will quickly run the installation and create database tables. Once done, you will see a success message after the installation is complete.
You can then proceed to your WordPress dashboard by clicking on the Log in button.
